FAQ

Questions we hear,with plain answers.

Short answers to the questions people ask before a hail repair. If yours is not here, call us at (720) 730-4931.

Inspection

Is the inspection free?
Yes. The inspection is free.
What happens at the inspection?
We read each affected panel under a light board, note every dent and explain what can be repaired by hand. We also go over payment with you.
What should I have ready?
Photos of the damage help, and so does the claim number if you have already opened a claim with your insurer.

Repair

What is paintless dent repair?
The dent is worked back into shape by hand, from behind the panel. The original paint stays when the damage allows.
How do you see the dents?
We read each panel under a light board. A dent bends the reflected lines, and the repair is finished when they run straight again.
What is glue pulling?
Some dents are pulled from the outside with glue tabs instead of being worked from behind. We use it when the repair needs it.
What if a panel can't be repaired without paint?
It happens when the paint is cracked or the metal is stretched too far. If a panel can't be repaired without paint, we tell you before any work starts, put it on the same estimate and arrange the paint work for you. The paint work may be done by a partner body shop. You keep one point of contact: us.
Can you help me with a rental car?
Yes. We help you arrange a rental.

Insurance

Who handles the insurance process?
We handle the process with your insurer. You authorize the repair, and your insurer confirms what is covered.
What will my policy cover?
Your policy decides coverage and deductible.
Where can I read more about insurance?
The insurance page shows who does what, from the inspection to the repair.

Mobile service

Can you come to my home or workplace?
Yes, when the repair allows. Some repairs can be done where the vehicle is parked, at home or at work.
Do you have a shop I can visit?
Not yet. There is no shop open to the public at the moment. Call us at (720) 730-4931 to talk about where the work can be done.
Where do you work?
We are headquartered in Denver, Colorado. The areas we work in are confirmed after each storm, and the service area page lists them.

Scheduling and payment

How far ahead are inspections scheduled?
Inspections are scheduled at least 24 hours ahead.
Can I request an inspection online?
Yes, for 2015 and newer vehicles. Older paint and metal are harder to predict, so for an older vehicle call or text us first at (720) 730-4931.
How does payment work?
When insurance covers the repair, payment usually comes from the insurer's check, which you authorize. We go over payment with you at the inspection.
